Never Ending Happy Times At NEST

Recently at the Nest preschool we celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami with merriment and laughter. We celebrate festivals to familiarise our students with our culture and values. On the days of celebration, the joy and excitement of the students is palpable in the air.

Teachers spend the day narrating stories about why and how the particular festival is celebrated, its background and history. Students are encouraged to dress up accordingly. Incorporating role-play through short skits involving the kids, promotes enthusiasm in acceptance of religious values and patriotism.

Children are inspired to inculcate the essence of brotherhood in their daily lives and helps them explore their religious and national connect with each other. Celebrating all the festivals is a way of guiding the youngsters to live in harmony despite diversity.

If you are on the look out for a preschool for your toddler , it would be a good idea to check out schools that lay emphasis on festival celebration, because it is also the responsibility of a school to teach their students humanity, kinship and tolerance.
