One such event was recently organized by the Nest Group of schools. Our annual picnic was held on 17th December, a fun day much awaited both by students and staff. This year it was planned at the Club Patio on South city 2.

The day started off with kids assembling in school at 9 in the morning. The drive to the picnic spot was pleasant and the children sang songs on the way. Their excitement knew no bounds when they entered the lush green lawns decorated with balloons, bouncy and a toy train ready to chug them away on a wonderful ride. Scrumptious pizzas and fruit juices were served for breakfast. After long hours of playing games like tug of war, jumping, skipping, they sat down to a meal of their favourite Channa bhatura and noodles, watered down with fresh juice. But all good things come to an end and the picnic did too, though the kids didn’t want to go back just yet! After gentle promises of more such events in the future, we drove back to school for the kids to be taken home.

Basant Panchami Celebration at Nest

Basant panchami the famous Hindu festival was celebrated across our all branches. Children wore yellow colour clothes and worshipped Goddess  Saraswati so that she may bestow the gift of knowledge  to little Nestians. Children recited rhymes on basant panchmi and talked about the significance of this festival. All branches were fully decorated by yellow colour flowers to welcome spring.

Top Playschool in Gurgaon-Republic Day Celebrations

A spirit of patriotism prevailed among the students as we celebrated Republic Day in all the branches of Nest Preschool. They were full of fervour and zeal. Before the celebrations began, teachers narrated the significance of this great day in the history of Indian Independence.

The school branches were decorated with small flags. Children sang patriotic songs and danced till they were exhausted. Flag hoisting was the highlight of the day, while the sector 12 Nest Preschool played host to senior staff members of Ryan International School, Sohna Road, who honoured us with their presence. The Nest School, as usual celebrated the Republic Day with as much enthusiasm as we do for all other festivals. This is what is unique about our school.
